About Ochir
Ochir showcasing a handstand balance. Lkhagva Ochir Erdene Ochir (“Ochir”) is a world-renowned Mongolian hand balancer and contortion artist with over two decades of experience. He has performed internationally – including starring in Cirque du Soleil’s Crystal and Kooza – and has earned numerous awards for his craft. Ochir is also the founder of AcroMongolia, passionate about sharing Mongolia’s rich circus arts tradition with students around the world.In his teaching, Ochir emphasizes strong fundamentals, safe progression, and mindful technique. Workshop participants can expect a supportive atmosphere where each person is guided according to their level. Ochir’s philosophy blends traditional Mongolian contortion techniques with modern training methods, aiming to help students achieve new levels of balance and flexibility.

AcroMongolia is the organizing host of these workshops. Founded by Ochir, AcroMongolia’s vision is to share the art of hand balancing and contortion with a broader community. The organization brings Mongolia’s renowned acrobatic heritage to international audiences through workshops and performances. Do I need prior experience to join?
No specific experience is required. These workshops are open to all levels – from beginners to advanced practitioners. Ochir will tailor the training to each participant’s ability, but a basic level of fitness and body awareness is recommended.
What should I bring or wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement (e.g. athletic wear or yoga attire). It’s a good idea to bring a water bottle and a towel. All necessary training equipment (mats, blocks, etc.) will be provided on site.
How do I register and pay?
Please fill out the registration form below with your details to reserve a spot. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions. Payment can be completed online via the provided Stripe links (see the “Pay Now” section). Your spot is confirmed only after payment.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel with a full refund up to 30 days before the workshop begins. If you have to cancel closer to the start date (within 30 days of the workshop), the fee becomes non-refundable. However, you may transfer your spot to another person if needed (just let us know in advance).
Can I attend both workshops?
Yes, you are welcome to participate in both the Handstand and the Flexibility workshops if you wish. (Note: there is no combined discount for attending both, so each workshop registration is handled separately.)
